yup. 540iT is auto only (I have one.) There are a handful of people that have done manual swaps though

nice. i hope the AT is doing ok. my sister had a 3er built during the time period when the ATs imploded and hers did at only 60K miles. my dad had to find a rebuilt transmission for her
